Caroline Culler – Caddie

gia and mommyGia’s Caddy is her mother, Caroline Culler.  It is a very special dynamic that allows a child and parent combo to work together on the golf course.  Caroline and Gia mostly work on Shortgame and Preshot Routine.  Shortgame would include: Putting, Chipping, Pitching, and Bunkers.  Gia’s routine consists of:  proper alignment, ball position, and imagination on the Golf Course.

During tournament action, Caroline gets yardage for Gia and can help her with advice, but also knows when to let Gia make her own decisions.  One of the great lessons Golf teaches children is to use good judgement based on the information you have.  Caroline is also an LPGA Professional and been a golf standout since she was a teenager.  Playing on the Miami  Springs Boy’s Golf Team, and earning All-Dade County Honors all 4 years in High School.  She was the youngest qualifier at the time, 14, to represent Florida in the Women’s Amateur Public Links.  Caroline earned a spot on the AJGA Canon Cup Team (East) that went on to win the Cup in 1994.  Caroline earned a Full Athletic Scholarship in Golf to the University of Miami, where she won 3 individual Titles, and was the Year-End-MVP her Freshman season.  Caroline went on to play on the LPGA Symetra Tour and qualified thru Local and Sectional sites as the First Alternate for the 2009 Women’s U.S. Open at Saucon Valley Country Club.

Caroline has played alongside:  Freddy Couples, Tom Shaw, Cristie Kerr, Robert Floyd, Grace Park, Beth Bauer, Karen Stupples, Veronica Felibert, Mariah Stackhouse, P.K. Kongkraphan, and Carlos Rodiles among many other great players.
