Mikhael Ricks has been working with Gia on her Golf Fitness sine 2014. Mikhael does not have Gia lifting any heavy weights because she is too young still. They work on hand-eye coordination, balance, core strength, and flexibility. They use TRX, Kettle Bells and Bands a lot in their workouts. Mikhael is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a certified personal trainer (CPT), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES). In addition, he is certified as a Kettbell Concepts and TRX trainer. Mikhael has worked with numerous athletes, teams and organizations in the field of football, basketball, baseball, hockey, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, golf, and swimming.
If Mikhael looks familiar to you, it may be because he has been a tremendous athlete in his own regard. Being Drafted in the 2nd round of the 1998 NFL draft to the San Diego Chargers where he played for 2 years then went on to play with the Kansas City Chiefs where he moved to tight end and went on to play for the Detroit Lions where he was a Pro Bowl selection in 2002. Mikhael retired in 2004 so he could pursue what would become his passion as a Sports Performance and Fitness Coach.
